Why owners work with us
One request, several structures
You do not get pushed into the one product we happen to sell. We look at what the money is for first.
A person, not a portal
Someone reads what you send and calls you back. No dashboard to check, no queue to sit in.
Plain terms up front
Amount, payment, schedule, cost. If you cannot repeat it back to your bookkeeper, we did not explain it well.

What we fund
Eight structures. What the money is for decides which one fits.
Same money. Very different terms.
A truck you will run for six years should not be paid back like a payroll gap in March.
Structures that usually fit
Business Term Financing
Fixed termA set amount over a set period, usually tied to a defined investment.

Long termLonger horizons and more documentation, generally for larger commitments.

Short termCovers ordinary operating costs when money leaves before it comes back in.

Busy month, empty account. Both can be true.
You paid for materials in week one. The invoice clears in week nine. Payroll ran four times in between. Nothing is broken. That is just how the money moves.
Funding covers the weeks in between.
Day 1
The work is accepted
A contract, an order, a new route, a second location.
Day 10
Money starts leaving
Payroll, materials, inventory, fuel, a deposit on equipment.
Day 30
The work is underway
Costs keep repeating on their own schedule.
Day 60
The invoice is paid
Revenue finally lands, weeks after it was earned.
Every trade waits on money differently.
A contractor holding retainage is not in the same spot as a clinic waiting on payers. Same $250,000, different structure.
- 01ConstructionPay app submitted. Retainage held. Payroll every Friday.
- 02Medical PracticesCare delivered today. Payer reimburses in 45 days.
- 03Healthcare and ClinicsBuild-out and staff first. Patient volume later.
- 04Trucking and TransportationFuel, drivers, insurance now. Broker pays on 30 to 60.
- 05Home Health CareCaregivers paid weekly. Authorizations settle monthly.

Capital that moves at the pace of the schedule, not the pay application.
FAQs
All questionsWhat businesses does Chelsea Business Capital work with?
Established United States businesses with operating history and real revenue. The general direction is at least 12 months in business, generally at least $100,000 in average monthly business revenue, and a financing request between roughly $50,000 and $5 million. Current priority industries include construction, medical and dental practices, healthcare and clinics, trucking and transportation, and home health care, though other established businesses may also qualify.
What if we do not meet one of the general criteria?
The criteria describe the businesses we are set up to serve today rather than a rigid scoring system. If your business is close on one measure, it is still reasonable to submit the qualification questions and let us respond directly. If it is not a fit right now, we will tell you plainly rather than leaving you waiting.
Do you work outside of Florida?
Yes. Chelsea Business Capital is based in Miami, Florida and works with businesses across the United States.
Is personal credit part of the review?
Ownership information is generally part of a business financing review. The application asks for an estimated credit score range rather than requiring a specific number at the start, and business performance is the primary focus.
How long does the process take?
We do not publish a specific timeline, because the honest answer depends on the amount requested, the structure being considered, and how quickly documentation is available. What we can tell you is what happens next at each stage, and we will keep you informed rather than leaving you guessing.
What happens after I submit an application?
You receive a confirmation with a reference number. The information you provided is reviewed, and we follow up by email using the address on the application. Additional documentation may be requested depending on the request and the structure under consideration.
Tell us what you are trying to do.
You will know what is realistic before you commit to anything.
